I'm Kenichi, the youngest member of NARAWALK. As a tour guide, I’d like to show you Japan through the eyes of the Japanese. So, as well as usual tourist spots, I’d like to take you somewhere that is not mentioned in your guidebooks at all! Join my walk, and I'll ensure you the holiday of your dream! |

Deer in Nara is a miracle example of co-existence of human being and wild animal. Enjoy feeding them with deer cracker...before they become interested in your map, sweets and passports! |

Nara is a place of peace and comfort. I especially like to sit on the grass in the deer park, or to have a personal conversation with eloquent masterpiece statues! My favorite to-have-a-conversation-with statue is a statue of Ganjin in meditation inToshodaiji Temple in Nara. Interested if you are in meditation, master could he (the statue) be for you, maybe! (By the way, the statue is open to the public only a few times a year.) |
