Nara is an ancient capital built 1300 years ago and older than Kyoto. Even after the capital was transferred to Kyoto, Nara prospered with many great temples left in Nara. Above all, the world's largest wooden structure (Todaiji Temple) and the oldest wooden structures (Horyuji Temple) are what Nara proudly boasts of.
Our walking tours include the most interesting and impressive sightseeing sites with many historical buildings beautifully harmonized with nature. Major temples and shrines on the courses are designated as World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.
